Sabalgarh is a city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh .

The city is part of the Morena district . Sabalgarh has the status of a Municipal Council . The city is divided into 18 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census it had 40,333 inhabitants, of which 21,567 were men and 18,766 women. Hindus make up the majority of the city's population with a share of over 90%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 78.7% and thus slightly above the national average.

In the city is the Fort of Sabalgarh , which was built in the 16th century.
