Sabaudus (more rarely also Sebaldus , Sebaud ) († before 620 ) was the (arch) bishop of Trier around 614 .

He had a Germanic background and possibly came from Burgundy . Probably at the instigation of Queen Brunichild , he became bishop in Trier before 614. He is attested by his participation in a synod in Paris to restore the unity of the Frankish empire under Chlothar II. He is listed among the metropolitans of the empire.

He is considered a saint. His feast day is November 26th. At the beginning of the 12th century he was mentioned in the directory of the Gesta Treverorum . Baldwin von Trier added it to his festival calendar around 1345.
