Sabine Dorn

Sabine Dorn (* 16th December 1964 in Bremen as Sabine Akkermann ) is a Bremen politician ( CDU , FDP ). She was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Life

education and profession

From 1984 to 1987 Dorn was trained as an industrial clerk. From 1987 to 1989 she attended the Bremen Business Academy, where she graduated as an industrial specialist. She also passed a trainer examination at the Bremen Chamber of Commerce . From 1990 to 1994 Sabine Dorn studied economics at the University of Bremen and has been a graduate economist ever since. In 1997 she also began studying law at the University of Bremen.

From 1987 to 1997 she was employed as an industrial clerk in various positions at various employers in various industries. In 1998 she became the owner of SCA Consulting Bremen . From 2002 Dorn had a teaching position at the University of Bremen in the field of marketing.

politics

Dorn was originally a member of the CDU and switched to the FDP in 2009. Since 2010 she has been a member of the state board of the FDP Bremen as an assessor. She later switched back to the CDU.

From June 10, 2003 to May 13, 2007 she was a member of the Bremen citizenship. In the citizenship she was represented in the committees for the ports, for federal and European affairs, international contacts and development cooperation, for information and communication technology and media affairs, for equal rights for women and for auditing.

In 2015 she ran as an independent candidate for the mayoral election of the city of Nordenham, but was defeated by Carsten Seyfarth. Since 2016 she has been a member of the city council of Nordenham for the CDU and has been chairwoman of the CDU city association since 2017.
