Sabine Bangert (born April 7, 1955 in Reutlingen ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and journalist .

Life

Bangert is a trained carpenter and journalist. From 1992 to 1993 she worked at the Berlin-Neukölln district office . From 1993 to 2000 she was project manager for the training measure LIFE eV / Ökotechnisches Frauenbildungszentrum Berlin. From 2000 to October 2011 she was a research assistant for the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group in the Berlin House of Representatives.

Bangert is a member of the Alliance 90 / The Greens party. Since September 18, 2011 she has been elected member of the Berlin House of Representatives via the state list . In the 18th electoral term, Bangert is chairman of the committee for cultural affairs, chairwoman for the Green parliamentary group in the House of Representatives for the labor market in the committee for integration, labor and social affairs. Since March 24, 2020 she has also been the chair of the " Hohenschönhausen Memorial " committee of inquiry .
