Sabine Buis

Sabine Buis (born September 15, 1970 in Aubenas ) is a French politician . She has been a member of the National Assembly since 2012 .

Buis grew up in the Ardèche , then studied in Grenoble and earned a master's degree in economics. She worked in Grenoble for some time and then taught at a high school in her home town of Aubenas. In 1998 she joined the Parti socialiste . For this she succeeded in moving into the regional council of the Rhône-Alpes region in 2010 . In the parliamentary elections in 2012 , she ran in the third constituency of the Ardèche department and, with her electoral success, became the department's first ever female MP.
