Sabine Klenke

Sabine Klenke (born October 5, 1954 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 1994 she was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Education and life

Sabine Klenke attended the ten-class high school POS "Krupskaja" in Halle from 1961 to 1971 . From 1971 to 1974 she trained as a nurse and from 1975 to 1977 graduated from the adult education center. From 1977 to 1980 she studied medicine at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg , but did not graduate. Since 1980 she worked as a nurse at the Martin Luther University. After qualifying as a specialist nurse from 1984 to 1986, she became a surgical nurse and in 1989 a senior nurse. Since 1989 she has been head nurse in the ENT clinic of the Martin Luther University. In 1990 she was elected as a board member of the professional association for nursing in Saxony-Anhalt.

Sabine Klenke, who is of the Protestant denomination, is married and has two children.

Sabine Klenke has been a member of the CDU since 1984. In 1985 she was the CDU's successor to the Halle city council and was city council from 1987 to 1989. After the fall of the Berlin Wall , she became chairwoman of the CDU women's union in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990, member of the state executive committee of the CDU Saxony-Anhalt , district executive committee member of the CDU Halle, member of the federal committee for health policy, member of the federal executive committee of the CDU women's union. She was directly elected to the state parliament in the first state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990 in the state electoral district of Halle, Altstadt III (WK 22).
