Sabine Pankofer

Sabine Pankofer (* 1964 in Wolfratshausen ) is a German professor of psychology in social work at the Catholic Foundation University in Munich with a focus on psychology as a reference science of social work, job-related self-awareness (action theory), research-based learning in research project workshops, theories of the social Work, power , empowerment , closed accommodation and social work in palliative care .

biography

Pankofer studied Special Education (Behavioral Disabilities Education), psychology and sociology at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and received his doctorate there in professional psychology on Closed accommodate girls . She works and researches various areas of social work, especially inpatient and outpatient youth welfare as well as self-help and self-help support. She has additional training in client-centered interviewing (GwG) and as a supervisor (DGSV; GaG). In 1998 she followed the call of the Catholic Foundation University in Munich to the professorship for psychology in social work. Since 2000, she has also headed the “Postgraduate Master's Program in Social Work” there, has been the doctoral officer since 2007 and since 2012 has also led the doctoral colloquium. Pankofer is a member of the supervisory board of the Condrobs eV addiction aid and prevention association and a liaison lecturer for various study foundations. She has been working as a supervisor since 2000 and has been in charge of supervision training at the IF at KSFH since 2012. Pankofer is considered to be one of the first researchers in Germany to deal with aspects of power in social work.
