Sabir Butt (born April 20, 1969 in Nairobi , Kenya ) is a former Canadian squash player .

Career

Sabir Butt played on the PSA World Tour from the late 1980s . In his career he won two tournaments on the tour. In January 1991 he reached rank 20, his highest ranking in the world rankings.

With the Canadian national team he took part in the World Cup in 1987 and 1989 and was part of the Canadian squad at the Pan American Games in 1995 . With the team he won the gold medal, in the individual he won bronze. In 1990 he was in the main field of the individual world championship, where he was eliminated in the first round. Between 1988 and 1994 he was Canadian national champion four times .
