Sacha Schneider (born June 23, 1972 ) is a former Luxembourg soccer player .

Club career

Schneider played at Union Sportive Mertert in his youth . In 1992 he moved to CS Grevenmacher in the senior sector . With this club he won the Coupe de Luxembourg in 1995 and 1998 . In 2002, Schneider moved to Jeunesse Esch . There he celebrated winning the Luxembourg championship in 2004. After another season at Jeunesse, he ended his active career in 2005.

National team

He played 27 games for the Luxembourg national team . His only goal for the national team he scored on June 6, 2001 in the 1: 2 home defeat in the World Cup qualifier against Russia .

Private

Schneider is married and has three children. He is the holder of the trainer license C and youth coordinator at Union Mertert-Wasserbillig .
