Sachi Parker

Stephanie Sachiko "Sachi" Parker (born September 1, 1956 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress .

Life

Parker is the daughter of actress Shirley MacLaine and producer Steve Parker (1922-2001). When she was two years old, she was sent to Japan to live with her father. She only visited her mother during the summer, at Christmas and at Easter. From the age of 18, she traveled the world for six years. She taught skiing in New Zealand , worked as a waitress in Hawaii , was a flight attendant at Qantas Airways for five years and an au pair girl in Paris for several months . On the way back to Japan, she visited her mother for a few months in Los Angeles, where she decided to become an actress.

She starred in the films They called him Stick (1985), Again Like Last Night (1986), A Girl Called Dinky (1990), Nishi no majo ga shinda (2008) and All Me, All the Time (2009) . TV series she has appeared on include Hotel (1984), California Clan (1987), Spacecop LA (1989), Equal Justice (1990), and Spaceship Enterprise (1991).

She was married to investment banker Frank Murray from 1993 to 2011, with whom she has two children.

In February 2013, Parker's autobiography Lucky Me: My Life With - and Without - My Mom, Shirley MacLaine was published.
