The Saddle Peak (English for Sattelspitze ) is a 960 m high mountain with double peaks in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Anare Mountains, it rises 5 km northwest of Mount Kostka .
Scientists from a 1962 campaign with the research vessel Thala Dan as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions gave it its descriptive name while exploring this area.
