Sadi Gent (* in Berlin, real name David Sadighi ) is a German rapper from Berlin .

Life

Sadighi was born in Berlin-Steglitz and spent his childhood there. He later moved to Berlin-Kreuzberg . Before that, as a freelance artist he had little chance of an apartment, he lived with his rapper colleague Mo, who let him sleep on the sofa in the winter garden. It was only with the release of his first albums that his financial resources made it easier for him to find an apartment. His musical career began influenced by 2Pac , Biggie Smalls and Immortal Technique in 2010 with the EP Sadi Gent Raps released on March 8th . It was free to download for a long time.

He gained increased prominence in the hip-hop scene through YouTube videos, which made it easier for him to release his debut album Bis Dato , which was released on August 30, 2013. However, it was not really well received and so Ghent was mainly considered an insider. In 2015 he released Mint Gold . The album went straight to number 34 in the German album charts.

His music primarily addresses self-doubt and the search for meaning. He appeared on tour as a supporting act for the better-known rappers Alligatoah , RAF 3.0 and Curse .
