Saint Jean (Larchant)
The Saint Jean sculpture in the St-Mathurin basilica in Larchant , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department of the Île-de-France region , was created in the first quarter of the 17th century.
In 1938, the sculpture of the Apostle John was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique .
The approximately 1.90 meter high wooden sculpture originally belonged to a Calvaire , like the sculpture of Mary in the church .
