Salavaux is a village on the northern edge of the Broye plain in the canton of Vaud , Switzerland , whose southern part belonged to the municipality of Constantine VD until 2011 and the northern main part of the municipality of Bellerive VD . Since July 1, 2011, when the municipal mergers came into force , Salavaux has been entirely part of the municipality of Vully-les-Lacs . Due to its location at the southern end of Lake Murten and the sandy beach ( Plage Salavaux ) a popular holiday resort.
