Salen (Norwegian for saddle ) is a 2950 m high mountain in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Sør Rondane Mountains, it rises between Mount Komsa and Salbreen .
Norwegian cartographers, who named it descriptively based on its shape, mapped it in 1957 using aerial photographs taken during the US operation Highjump (1946–1947).
