Salgótarjáni BTC is a Hungarian sports club from the northern Hungarian city of Salgótarján .

history

The association was founded in 1920. The club colors are black and white. The club played first-class for the first time in 1935/36, but rose again after one season. Many years of first and second class followed. In the 1971/72 season the best result in the club's history was achieved in the Nemzeti Bajnokság with third place. 1980 Salgótarján rose from the Nemzeti Bajnokság for the last time and has been playing underclass since then.
