Salim İyik (born February 3, 1998 in Izmir ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

İyik was born in Konak , a district of the western Turkish metropolis of Izmir, and began playing club football in 2006 as a youth in Göztepe Izmir .

Towards the end of the 2014/15 season he was only involved in the training of the professional team and finally made his professional debut on March 13, 2015 in the away division against Diyarbakır Büyükşehir Belediyespor . At the start of the second half of the season he had also received a professional contract from his club. With this debut he also belonged to the team that became champions of the TFF 2nd Lig and thus achieved promotion to the TFF 1st Lig . In the summer of 2017 he rose with his club through the play-off victory in the Süper Lig .

His club loaned him to third division Bodrum Belediyesi Bodrumspor for the 2017/18 season and to Muglaspor for the 2018/19 season .

In the summer of 2019 he finally left Göztepe and moved to the Istanbul third division club Pendikspor .
