Saline Island is an uninhabited island belonging to Grenada in the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean between Grenada and St. Vincent to the north .
geography
The island belongs to the Carriacou archipelago and is located directly between White Island and the Cassada Rocks . A channel about 800 m wide separates the island from Frigate Island in the south. The island used to be characterized by a deep bay that pulled into the coastline from the north. The bay has now silted up. The southeast of the island rises to over 20 m .
