Frigate Island is an uninhabited island belonging to Grenada in the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean between Grenada and St. Vincent to the north .
geography
The island belongs to the Carriacou archipelago . To the south of it is Large Island and a small unnamed rock. Only a narrow channel separates it from the neighboring islands of Saline Island , White Island and Mushroom Island as well as the Cassada Rocks . The island is characterized by a deep bay that extends from the north into the coastline. At the southern end, it rises to around 40 m .
