The Salis Verlag AG is a Swiss publishing house based in Zurich . Swiss literature as well as national and international non-fiction books are the focus of the publishing activities .

Salis Verlag was founded in 2007. By spring 2010 the publisher had published 30 books. Among these " Hardau : Claro que sí, c'est çomme ça, c'est la vie" by Julia Ambroschütz and Jeannine Herrmann, which also received recognition beyond Switzerland and was recognized in 2008 by the Book Art Foundation as one of the "most beautiful German books" was awarded. Salis Verlag also published the bestseller “Silano - The Robbery of the Century” by Domenico Silano and Patrik Maillard. With Erica Matiles “On the spot - Around 1,000 tips and tricks for our daily life”, another book from Salis Verlag made it into the top ten Swiss non-fiction bestsellers. With Thomas Meyer's novel: “ Wolkenbruch's wonderful journey into the arms of a Schickse ”, published in 2012, Salis Verlag achieved another great success.

In 2009, the publisher was one of the initiators of the Hotlist , the annual book prize awarded by independent publishers.
