The castle Herlikofen is an Outbound hilltop castle in today's western residential area "In the Corner" of the district Herlikofen the city of Schwabisch Gmund in Ostalbkreis in Baden-Württemberg .

Presumably the castle was built around 1225. A Rudegerus de Herlekoven testified in Schwäbisch Hall on April 28, 1225 a purchase contract that was concluded by the Staufer King Heinrich VII . Only the remains of ramparts and moats remain from the former castle .
