The castle Erpfental is an Outbound medieval lowland castle southwest of the village Erpfental , a district of the district Röhlingen of Ellwangen near the street Röhlingen after Pfahlheim in Ostalbkreis in Baden-Württemberg .
The 5.5 meter high artificially raised castle hill still shows traces of a ring wall in the east .
