Mohrenstetten Castle

The castle Mohr Stetten is an Outbound hilltop castle on a ridge northwest of Mohr Stetten, a hamlet of the town Lauchheim in Ostalbkreis in Baden-Württemberg .

In 1240 a Dominus Volcardus de Murestan is mentioned. However, it is not certain whether this knight belongs to Mohrenstetten Castle or Morstein Castle . Wall and moat remains from the former castle are still preserved. The approximately 25 to 35 meters tall castle stables are 5 to 6 meters high.
