Leinzell Castle

The Leinzell Castle , also long MOORISH castle called in the municipality Leinzell in Baden-Wuerttemberg was on the ruins of the Thirty Years' War ruined fortifications of the Lang family in 1650 built. Even after the Lang family lost power, it remained in their possession and was only sold in 1990 from the possession of Baron Brigitte von Lang.

The castle has belonged to the art collector couple Silvia and Helmut Wickleder since 2004. They set up a foundation that supports exhibitions of young artists in the castle.

In 2009 the outside of the castle was renovated.
