history

Fernanda Quiñones is artistically known as "Salomé", a woman who works with her friend Karicia as a dancer in a cabaret at the D'Rubí showroom in Mexico City. One day they arrive at the Montesino family home, where Salomé meets Julio, the son of this family who is a millionaire but whose decisions depend on his mother Lucrecia. He is married to Angela, a sick woman who cannot have children. Diego, Angela's brother, who brought the cabaret dancers into the house, lives with them.

Over time, Salome and Julio meet several times, and love between them grows. Obsessed with Julio having a child to inherit his fortune and that Angela cannot give that child to Lucrecia, Lucrecia comes up with the idea that Salome is the mother of that child. Salome agrees to treat Lucrecia shortly after she becomes pregnant. But knowing that Julio, even though he loves Salome, will not leave his wife Angela, Salome discovers that it will be Angela who will raise the child as his son, and so she regrets it and decides to go with the child and two other babies left by a neighbor whose father is unable to care for them, run away. Salome comes up with the idea of registering the three children as twins, including the abandoned babies as their real children.

Twenty years go by and Salome, now using her real name "Fernanda", becomes a wealthy businesswoman who has left her life in cabaret and lives with her three children, José Armando, José Miguel and José Julián. She returns to Mexico to meet again with her old friend Karicia, who is leading a miserable life after their failed relationship with Lucho's abuse. But things get complicated when she happens to meet Julio and his mother, who at all costs want to know which of the three teenagers is the real son of Salomé and Julio.
