Salomon Eger

Salomon Eger (born in Lissa in 1786 ; died in Posen in 1852 ) was a Polish chief rabbi and Jewish scholar.

He was the son of Akiba Eger , rabbi in Kalisch and - as his father's successor - chief rabbi in Poznan since 1837. Among other things, he published a biography of his father (Berlin 1862).
