Saltzwedel (noble family)
Saltzwedel is an aristocratic family from the Altmark , originally called Soltwedel , whose direct family line begins with Heine Saltzwedel (around 1465–1521), mayor of Osterburg .

Called von Saltzwedel by Wienskowski
The royal Prussian lieutenant colonel a. D. Anton Ludwig von Saltzwedel adopted his future son-in-law Reinhold von Wienskowski (1780–1863), who married his daughter Johanna von Saltzwedel (1788–1828) on September 19, 1806 . This reached the Prussian name and coat of arms association in Berlin on September 15, 1806 as " von Wienskowski gen. Von Saltzwedel ".
