Salzburg Plus was a regional Austrian private television broadcaster based in Wals-Himmelreich in Salzburg ( Austria ).
The owner, Salzburg Plus Television GmbH, was majority owned by Angermüller Media GmbH and Rinner Media GmbH. The program was produced by the Salzburg production company Mediahaus OG, also a subsidiary of the two broadcasters.
Broadcasting began on October 11, 2010. The station was broadcast digitally terrestrially in and around Salzburg using DVB-T and could also be received in HD on Salzburg AG's cable .
Since the operation did not bring the desired sales, it was announced on January 22, 2012 that the station would cease operations at the end of the month.
