Sam Hill (Director)
Sam Hill is an American director and television producer . He works for the series CSI: Miami , Buffy - The Vampire Slayer and Inspector Lynley , among others . He was also an assistant director for four films.
Career
Sam Hill began his career in the film industry in the 1990s as a production assistant and grip . He has worked as second and first assistant director on several television series and films, including the successful film Eiskalte Engel , where he worked for the first time with actress Sarah Michelle Gellar . The second cooperation with her took place as long-time first assistant director to Joss Whedon on the television series Buffy - The Vampire Slayer . Hill achieved his breakthrough through his work on the television series CSI: Miami , where after two years he became the first assistant director to become producer and director in 2005.
