Sam Jaun
Sam Jaun (born September 30, 1935 in Wyssachen / Emmental; † February 9, 2018 in Bern ) was a Swiss crime writer .
Jaun studied German and Classical Philology and then worked as a teacher and cultural representative for the city of Bern . From 1977 on he worked as a freelance writer and translator. After several stays abroad in Portugal , France and the USA , he lived in Bern and Berlin until his death . Jaun published plays , novels and radio plays before turning to crime fiction in the late 1970s.
