Sam Jones (DJ)

Sam Jones (* 1993 in Swansea ) is a Welsh DJ and music producer from Swansea. He produces u. a. in the genres of trance and techno , but especially in the border area, the tech trance . His tracks are characterized by extreme complexity and the most varied use of samples.

Career

At the age of 17, Simon Foy became aware of Sam Jones at the Inside Out Festival. This enabled Sam Jones to join clubs in the United Kingdom. With the support of well-known DJs such as Ferry Corsten , Aly & Fila , John O'Callaghan , Simon Patterson , Jordan Suckley , Bryan Kearney and Sneijder , he was able to gain further experience and thus reached the top 10 of the Beatport trance charts for the first time in 2014 with Buckle Up ; In 2015 he even made it to third place with Let Loose .

With releases on well-known labels such as Armada Music , Black Hole Recordings , Kearnage Recordings and Damaged Records , Sam Jones is undoubtedly assigned to the tech trance and is one of the leading young DJs on the scene with Will Atkinson , Shugz , Will Rees and The Noble Six . His music is characterized by high complexity and the excessive use of samples, which is why he has a pioneering position within the tech trance scene.

Sam Jones has been DJing at Luminosity every year since 2015.
