Sam Leak (* around 1985) is a British jazz musician ( piano , composition ).

Live and act

Leak worked in the British jazz scene with his formation Aquarium (with Calum Gorlay , James Allsopp , Joshua Blackmore ), with whom he has released two albums since 2011, most recently the album Places (Jellymould Jazz) in 2013 , both of which received positive reviews. He has also been involved in recordings with the Emmanuel Franklyn Adelabu Quintet, the Spike Orchestra led by Sam Eastmond and Nikki Franklin , with Chris Rand , Louise Gibbs and with Samuel Eagles ' Spirit , and worked with Ollie Howell, Greg Hutchinson , Ray Warleigh and Anita Wardell . In the field of jazz, he was involved in eight recording sessions between 2013 and 2016, according to Tom Lord . Leak released the album Permission (33 Records) with the singer-songwriter Paula Rae Gibson in 2018 . Leak is currently working in a trio with Simon Read (double bass) and Dave Smith (drums), in a quartet and with his big band, and in a duo with Dan Tepfer .
