Samantha Marshall
Samantha Nicole Marshall is an Antigua and Barbuda- born politician for the Antigua Labor Party . She has been a member of the House of Representatives since 2014 .
Political career
Marshall was educated at Christ the King High School and Antigua State College . This was followed by a law degree in London . After completing her postgraduate studies at Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica , she was admitted to the bar. She practices in her own law firm in Saint John's . Marshall began her political career in the 2009 general election . There she entered in the constituency of St. Mary's South , but was defeated by the United Progressive Party candidate Hilson Baptiste . In the 2014 elections she was then able to prevail against him with 52.09% of the vote. In Prime Minister Gaston Browne's cabinet , she is responsible for the resort's human resource development and social change.
