Ernst Dobers

Theodor Max Ernst Dobers (born March 3, 1892 in Posen ; † May 1945 ) was a German biologist and professor at the Elbing College for Teacher Training .

The son of a vocational school director in Eberswalde Dobers, after graduating from high school in 1910, studied biology, mathematics and physics in Tübingen and at the Humboldt University in Berlin until he received his doctorate with a biological dissertation in 1915 on the Bdelloida . After completing his studies, he volunteered for military service in World War I in 1914 and was finally appointed lieutenant dR. Until July 1919 he was active in the Eastern Border Guard . After his legal traineeship , he was appointed to the University of Hanover in 1921, Professor of Biology at the Pedagogical Academy in Stettin in 1930, and in 1933 he was appointed Professor of Heredity and Racial Studies at the Elbing College of Teacher Training , of which he became Deputy Head in 1937. He was active as a teacher trainer in the field of biology and racial studies. In 1940 he was an occupation officer in Warsaw . In 1942 he qualified as a professor at the University of Konigsberg for anthropology . He was then employed as head of the Eilenburg teacher training college . In 1945 he was still a supervisory officer for the teacher training institutes in Pomerania .

In its pedagogical literature since 1933, the NSDAP (since 1937) and SA members have been conducting unbridled anti-Semitic propaganda and countering the Nordic “high-performance people” with the Jewish “parasites”. The Jewish question should be dealt with again and again, and he recommends the smear sheet Der Stürmer as teaching material .
