Sami İzcican (born October 19, 1983 in Van ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

İzcican was born in the eastern Turkish city of Van and played here in the youth teams of various local clubs, including the former first division club Vanspor . In the summer of 2006 he received a professional contract with this club and played one season with the then fourth division. After one season he moved to the southern Turkish third division club Mersin İdman Yurdu . With this club he rose at the end of the 2008/09 season as runner-up in the TFF 2nd Lig in the TFF 1st Lig .

After he had played one season in the 1st Lig for Mersin IY after this success, he moved to the 2010/11 season for league rivals Adanaspor .

For the 2011/12 season he was then given to the third division club Şanlıurfaspor . With this team he celebrated the championship of the TFF 2nd Lig at the end of the season and thus the direct promotion to the TFF 1st Lig . After two seasons he left the club towards league competitor Bucaspor .

In the spring he moved on to Istanbul third division club Tepecikspor , stayed here only until the end of the season and moved to fourth division Sivas 4 Eylül Belediyespor in summer 2014 .
