Sami (born June 23, 1994 in Frankfurt ; real name Sami Mariano Bakri ) is a German rapper with Tunisian and Moroccan roots.

biography

Sami grew up in Frankfurt. His father came to Germany from Tunisia in 1980, his mother comes from Morocco. After graduating from secondary school, he worked as a mechatronics technician at Deutsche Bahn . Sami is under contract with the label Seiten Auf Null. The most successful song with 7.4 million views on Youtube (as of May 2020) was Cinderella .

His songs are influenced by trap and North African music.
