Tanja Klenk (* 1974 in Schwäbisch Hall ) is a German political scientist .

Life

From 1994 to 2001 she studied sociology , political science, history and philosophy at the University of Hamburg (major in sociology: economics, work and organization / graduation as a sociologist, diploma thesis: "Municipal gender equality policy in the administrative modernization process"). From 2001 to 2004 she was a consultant at ISA Consult GmbH, a consulting company for innovation, structural policy and work, with a focus on modernizing the public sector (contract management, quality management, working hours). From 2004 to 2011 she was a research assistant at the Center for Social Policy, Department Theory and Constitution of the Welfare State, University of Bremen . After completing her doctorate in June 2007 (Dr. rer. From 2015 to 2017 she taught as a professor for theory and empirical science of health care at the University of Kassel . After completing his habilitation in February 2017 at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences in Potsdam , Venia Legendi for Politics and Public Administration; Title of the habilitation thesis: "Accountability and Coordination in Welfare Markets" (cumulative) she has been teaching since 2017 as a professor for administrative science at the Helmut Schmidt University .
