The Samland Museum in Pinneberg is a local museum that reminds of East Prussian and Samland history, culture and nature. The museum is housed in the Bürgerhaus, Fahltskamp 30.

Among other things, the rescued holdings from the former museum in Burg Lochstädt are on display . In addition, an overview of the former trade, handicrafts and fishing is given. In addition, the former seaside resorts there, the amber mining and the Rossitten ornithological station are illuminated.

The Samland was formed by the district of Fischhausen and the district of Königsberg (Pr). Both circles, which had been independent since February 1, 1818, were united on April 1, 1939 to form the newly formed Samland district .

The museum is mainly maintained by the Fischhausen district community . After a fire in 2009, the museum was reopened in September 2011 with a redesign.
