Eduard Pană (born May 28, 1944 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian ice hockey player who has played for Dinamo Bucharest throughout his career .
Career
Eduard Pană spent his entire club career in his hometown with Dinamo Bucharest , for which he played in the Romanian ice hockey league from 1968 to 1979 . With his team he won the national championship five times during this period (1971, 1972, 1973, 1976 and 1979). In 1998 he became the first Romanian ever to be inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame .
International
For Romania , Pană took part in the C World Championships in 1963 , 1964 , 1965 , 1966 , 1967 , 1968 , 1969 , 1970 , 1971 , 1972 , 1973 , 1974 , 1975 and 1977 as well as the B World Cup in 1976 . In addition, he was in his country's squad at the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1964 and in Grenoble in 1968 , as well as at the 1976 Winter Olympics , which were again held in Innsbruck.
