B world championship

The group B tournament was played in Graz, Austria. In the game between Yugoslavia and the United States , with a score of 4-1 for Yugoslavia, a hard shot destroyed the mask of Yugoslav goalkeeper Anton Jože Gale at the beginning of the second period and injured his eye so badly that he not only played the game but even his career had to finish.
