Vladimir Shadrin ( Russian Владимир Николаевич Шадрин * 6. June 1948 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ; † 26. August 2021 ) was a Soviet - Russian hockey player and - coaches , who for many years for HC Spartak Moscow in the Klass A active was. With the Soviet national team he took part in two Olympic Winter Games and several world championships, where he was Olympic champion and five times in 1972 and 1976 respectivelyBecame world champion .
Career
Wladimir Schadrin comes from the youth department of Spartak Moscow and made his debut for the men's team of the club in the then Class A, the highest Soviet ice hockey league, during the 1964/65 season. Schadrin established himself relatively quickly in the first team, so that he played almost all of the season's games in the season after next.
In 1967, 1969 and 1976 he won the Soviet championship with Spartak, he was also awarded the Pris Tri Bombardira in 1973 and 1976 .
He scored a total of 213 goals in 445 games in the Class A and Wysschaja League . The last four years of his career (from 1979 to 1983) played Schadrin together with Yuri Lyapkin for the Japanese ice hockey club Ōji Seishi Ice Hockey Bu from Tomakomai , with which he was Japanese champion in 1982 and 1983.
International
On December 1, 1968 Schadrin made his debut for the Soviet national team in a game against Finland.
Between 1968 and 1978 he was eight times with the Sbornaja world champion . In 1971 he was named an Honored Master of Sport .
His international career was crowned with gold medals at the 1972 and 1976 Winter Olympics . For the national team he scored 71 goals in 169 internationals. In 1976 he was recognized by the IIHF as the best scorer in terms of points and goals. On April 14, 1978 he played his last international match.
As a trainer and functionary
Between 1966 and 1975, Schadrin graduated from Gubkin University for Petroleum and Gas and the GZOLIFK Trainer Academy (1983 to 1985). From 1977 he was a member of the CPSU .
In 1984 he became a coach at Spartak Moscow and was head coach of the Spartak Sports School until 1991. From 1992 to 1997 he worked as a coach for the Russian national junior teams. Among other things, he won the silver medal at the U18 European Junior Championship in 1993 . From 2000 he was General Director of the Sokolniki Sports Palace and later became Vice President of HK Spartak Moscow.
