The Ōji Eagles ( Japanese 王子 イ ー グ ル ス , Ōji Īgurusu ) are a Japanese ice hockey club from Tomakomai , which was founded in 1925 and has played in the Asia League ice hockey since 2003 . The club is owned by Ōji Seishi .
history
The Ōji Eagles, which were founded in 1925, have won the All Japan Championship 34 times . In 1966 they were one of the founding members of the Japan Ice Hockey League , which they won 13 times. When the league was dissolved in 2003 in favor of the Asia League Ice Hockey , the Eagles also joined this as a founding member. The greatest success in the club's history was winning the Asia League Ice Hockey in the 2007/08 and 2011/12 seasons.
