The 2004/05 season was the second season of the Asia League Ice Hockey , the highest East Asian ice hockey division . The Kokudo Ice Hockey Club became champions for the first time in the club's history .

mode

In the regular season, each of the eight teams played a total of 42 games. The four best-placed teams of the regular season qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a draw and a defeat after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
