The 2014/15 season was the twelfth season of the Asia League Ice Hockey , the highest East Asian ice hockey division . The Tōhoku Free Blades from Hachinohe became champions for the third time in the club's history .

mode

This season, HK Sakhalin was the ninth team in the league and the first Russian team since Golden Amur to start playing in the ALIH in the 2004/05 season .

In the regular season, each of the nine teams played a total of 48 games. The five best-placed teams of the regular season qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime or shootout, one point for a defeat after overtime or shootout and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
