Karel Vohralík

Karel Vohralík (born February 22, 1945 in Pardubice ; † October 17, 1998 ibid) was a Czechoslovak ice hockey player who played for Tesla Pardubice in the first division of Czechoslovakia for over two decades .

Career as a player

Vohralík began his career at Tesla Pardubice in 1962, before moving to the Dukla Litomerice Army Club two years later for military service . After the end of his service, he returned to Tesla Pardubice in 1966 and played for this club until his retirement in 1977. In 1973 he won the Czechoslovak championship with Pardubice . He played a total of 425 games in 13 seasons in the first division , the top division in Czechoslovakia, in which he scored 36 goals.

In addition to his success at club level, Karel Vohralík took part with the Czechoslovak national team at the 1972 Winter Olympics and the 1973 Ice Hockey World Championship , where he won the bronze medal. Vohralík completed a total of 40 international matches for Czechoslovakia.
