Yuri Wassiljewitsch Lebedew ( Russian Юрий Васильевич Лебедев ; born May 1, 1951 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian - Soviet ice hockey player .

Career

During his career he played with Krylya Sowetow Moscow and HK CSKA Moscow . In total, he scored 181 goals in 473 games in the Soviet league . In 1974 he won both the Soviet championship and the Soviet ice hockey cup with Krylja; He was one of the club's top performers with his strike partners W. Anissin and A. Bodunow . A year later he reached the runner-up with Krylja.

In the 1982/83 season he went to Germany for a year and played as a player-coach for Hamburger SV in the single-track 2nd Bundesliga .

After the end of his career he worked as a trainer for Krylya Sovetov and was later also president of the club. Today he is the sports director of Krylja and plays in the legends of hockey team . In 1981 he received the Badge of Honor of the Soviet Union , and in 1978 the Medal for Brave Work.

International

On September 6, 1972, he was in a game against Canada for the first time for the Soviet national team on the ice and completed three games for the Sbornaja as part of the 1972 Summit Series . His international career was crowned with a silver medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics ( Miracle on Ice ). For the national team, he scored 25 goals in 127 international matches. On April 22, 1981, he played his last international match. In 1974 he was inducted into the " Russian Hockey Hall of Fame ".
