Sammy Williams

Sammy Williams (born November 18, 1948 in Trenton , New Jersey , † March 17, 2018 in Hollywood ) was an American actor and dancer .

Life

Williams attended Steinert High School and moved to New York City in 1967. He completed training as an actor and dancer. Williams received roles in the musicals The Happy Time and Applause between 1968 and 1972 . In 1975 he got the role of the dancer Paul in the musical A Chorus Line , for which he received the Tony Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical in 1976. In later years he worked as a florist in Los Angeles.
