The Samotnia Hut ( Polish Schronisko PTTK "Samotnia" , German also Small Teichbaude ) is located at an altitude of 1195 m npm in Poland in the Giant Mountains , a mountain range of the Sudetes , on Karsee Mały Staw ( Small Pond ).
history
The hut was built in 1670 and is one of the oldest and most beautifully situated buildings in the Giant Mountains. It is owned by the PTTK .
Accesses
The hut can be reached via several marked hiking trails. Above the Kars there is the Schronisko Strzecha Akademicka shack with a significantly larger bed capacity.
