Samuel Igun

Samuel Igun (born February 28, 1938 in Warri ) is a former Nigerian three and high jumper .

At the Olympic Games in 1960, he was eliminated in the triple jump and in the high jump in each qualification. Four years later he came in high jump at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics in 15th place.

At the Africa Games in Brazzaville in 1965 , he won both disciplines. In 1966 he won gold in the triple jump and silver in the high jump at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston .

At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, he did not get past the first round in the triple jump. In 1970 he was seventh in triple jump and eleventh in high jump at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh , and in 1972 he finished eleventh in triple jump at the Olympic Games in Munich .
