Samuel Kummer (born February 27, 1968 in Stuttgart ) is a German organist .
Live and act
Samuel Kummer studied church music at the State University for Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart . He passed his A-exam in 1997 with distinction in organ improvisation . After working as district cantor in Kirchheim unter Teck , he moved to the Frauenkirche in Dresden in 2005 . Since 2007, Kummer has been a lecturer for organ improvisation and literary play at the Dresden University of Church Music .
Awards
- 1996: First place at the Concours L'Europe et L'Orgue in Maastricht .
